URGH

I don't know what's wrong with people but all the news articles about the rumors about Obama and his religious beliefs, and his citizenship status and blah blah blah is quite...annoying. I haven't read the articles, but I just read the titles and it's sickening. Why can't people just let go of their doubts and not believe stupid rumors and all that stupid shit? I thought all this somewhat came up before during the presidential campaign. Can't people just let go of past disappointments? Even if you're not completely satisfied with how things turn up, blowing it up is just...BLAH.

Yeah, they are focusing on silly stupid crap like that. And it was all hashed out during the campaign, but despite him SAYING what his faith is, people still believe otherwise. It's the same thing with his birth certificate from Hawaii. There's a whole group of people who still believe it's fake DESPITE a reputable news organization validating it, as well as the STATE itself saying it's valid.

I don't get it. Personally, I believe that they are bringing this up because he's not bombing at being President. He's made choices that are main stream, and neither too liberal nor too conservative, so they don't have much else to bring up.

Edit to add that what does it matter what his faith is? That's the main thing I don't get. Anyway...just wanted to add that.

Yeah, I agree it shouldn't matter what his faith is. Thooough I admit not wanting to vote for someone who practices Satanism or Luciferism. Or one who fully believes in debauchery (Bacchus follower, eh?)

*sigh* Why, people, why?

...Because he's not white.

Sad but true.

The most audacious thing about it is the fact that one of the issues is claims of Obama being Islamic. To conservative Republicans, being Islamic is a crime. The whole Tea Party movement is a scary thing. Rich, belligerent, nationalist, greedy, right-wing Christian, racist, white people who are becoming a dangerous element. To them, labeling someone a Muslim is akin to labeling one a rapist or a murderer. To get a laugh at the expense of such fascists click the below link to see a few parody shirts. :D I love satire.
